It’s extremely amazing to observe people fall in love with dogs especially when they go above and above to display their affection for their furry companions.
Tyler, a specialist in the United States Army, decided to take the phrase “extra mile” quite literally. He transported a puppy home and the trip was over 6,000 kilometers.
While stationed in Syria, Tyler fell in love with a gorgeous fluffy puppy. Immediately, he decided to care for the stray puppy, gave her the name Daisy, and became her friend while serving in Syria. Knowing the difficulties that Syrian stray dogs face, Tyler became Daisy’s willing friend and father. He told himself that he would shower her with so much love each and every day, and he has kept that promise since their first meeting.
In the midst of the nation’s darkness, tensions, and turmoils, Tyler found solace and strength in Daisy. Eventually, the two developed a strong bond and were the best of friends.
The day came, however, when Tyler’s superiors requested him to leave Daisy permanently if no one would assume formal responsibility for the dog. Tyler planned to send the dog to his family in New York without delay after volunteering to officially assume responsibility for her. And from there began Daisy’s 6,000-mile adventure.
Daisy flew from Syria to Iraq, Germany, and New York in order to meet Tyler’s family. Daisy’s voyage from Syria to New York was safe and comfortable due to the support of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
When Tyler and Daisy finally reconnected, their relationship grew stronger. The soldier was extremely grateful to Daisy because she provided him with courage and hope when he was serving in Syria. In a distant land, the once-homeless dog has helped Tyler cope with his need for a family.
Tyler wishes to remain with Daisy for an extended period of time, but he still has obligations in Syria and must leave Daisy for a time. This time, though, Tyler is confident that his beloved puppy will receive daily attention and affection now that Daisy has joined his family. And despite being separated once more, their love, care, and affection for one another would not change.
