Guinness was born with all the odds stacked against him. Guinness’s mom hated him from the moment he was born, so she pushed him away right off the bat because he was the runt in the litter.
Guinness’s foster mom, Jess, shared that everyone told her not to get her hopes up because Guinness might not even make it through the night. Jess knew that she did not want to abandon Guinness, so she decided to take the little puppy home.

Jess recalled that she immediately introduced the bottle to Guinness, and she was surprised how the little puppy quickly started feeding on it without any problem. Jess admitted that she thought Guinness would not like drinking milk from the bottle, but she was relieved that Guinness took it like a champ.
Jess admitted that they faced little obstacles here and there, but she was glad that Guinness started getting stronger. Jess also noticed the change in Guinness’s behavior because he became much cuddlier, sweeter, and spunkier with each passing day.
Jess eventually ended up adopting Guinness as soon as he was old and well enough to be adopted. Jess shared how happy she was that Guinness went from being a runt to a big, handsome Pit Bull.
Jess shared that she has also been fostering kittens and puppies during the two years that she has had Guinness. Jess said Guinness does a great job at helping with taking care of their foster pets, but she saw something different in Guinness when she brought home two little kittens.
Jess recalled that Guinness was unsure of the kittens from the moment she took them home. However, Guinness suddenly became completely obsessed and always came to the kitties’ pen to lick them all over.
Jess shared that Guinness developed his motherly instincts despite not having an actual mom himself. Jess said that she is happy that Guinness became the best little helper she had in fostering different animals who need an extra dose of love.
