Maria was browsing on the internet when a girl from her school posted about her neighbor having kittens that needed home. Maria decided to take home one of the kitties and named him Wynston because she knew that she wanted her cat, Wyatt, and her dog, Wesley, to have a new friend.
Maria introduced Wynston to Wyatt as soon as she was finished cleaning the new kitten up, and the two animals quickly became friends. Maria recalled that Wyatt even looked so excited because he immediately initiated playtime with the newest addition to their family right after the quick introduction.
Maria introduced Wynston to Wesley and hoped that they would get along well as fast as Wyatt and Wesley did, but he wanted nothing to do with his new doggy brother. She believes that Wynston must have felt intimidated by Wesley’s size because he was always on guard whenever the dog was around him.
Maria even noticed that Wesley seemed a little jealous whenever Wynston plays with Wyatt because she often catches her dog staring at the two cats while they were busy playing. However, Wynston eventually got over the difference in his size and Wesley’s because he became interested in his doggy brother as he got bigger.
Wynston started playing with Wesley’s tail whenever it starts wagging, and Maria saw how hard Wesley was trying to contain his excitement every time his little kitty brother does that. Wynston also eventually began sleeping next to Wesley’s doggy bed and use him as a pillow.
Maria shared that Wynston showed Wesley so much love by cuddling with him and kneading on his back before bed. Maria said that she feels grateful that her pets are happy-go-lucky animals who enjoy being with one another more than anything.
