Dozer, a three-year-old Goldendoodle from the USA, amused people with his running skills that nobody, even his owners, expected of him.
One morning, Dozer was alone, playing in their backyard. He was enjoying his own company and minding his business until thousands of runners captured his attention. Unknown to both Dozer and his owner, a marathon for a cause was happening that day.
The flurry of people trying to outrun each other piqued Dozer’s interest and excitement. This made him want to join the event too. So Dozer used all his strength to run and successfully finish the seven-mile marathon.
At long last and after the long run, he completed the marathon successfully. Finally, he was able to cross the finish line without the help of anyone. Now, after the exhausting event, Dozer got the chance to utilize the rest of the day to celebrate and hang around with the other runners.
The following day, Dozer went home, all by himself again. His owners saw how tired and exhausted he looked. They never knew what made him look as if he was sick, so they hurriedly brought him to the vet.
After quite some time, Dozer’s owners realized that Dozer was the talk of the town. They got shocked at first because it was unexpected for them to know how their dog was able to participate in a marathon without their guidance. Several runners were equally clueless because when they saw him participate in the event, none realized that he was all alone and running by himself.
Dozer’s owners got contacted by the event organizers, who gave Dozer a medal for participating in the event and completing the marathon. With all the love and support showered to Dozer, he was able to raise a donation page of his name in support of the marathon charity.
