A woman named Melissa has fostered and adopted a significant number of animals. So it came as no surprise when her friend Cynthia asked if she could foster another animal. Otto was the dog Cynthia talked to Melissa about.
Otto is a Chihuahua mix weighing one pound and had only two hind legs. Melissa was advised that Otto was quite little and required syringe feeding. These particulars were quite daunting, but Melissa agreed to foster the animal. She was unable to ignore a dog in need.
It was somewhat stressful to ensure Otto’s survival and nourishment. But with her dedication, after a few days of care, Otto has shown signs of improvement.
He has gained eighty percent or more of his existing body weight. Melissa could not be more content.
Otto is little, but his personality is enormous. He has no qualms about playing with large dogs.
He even believes that his barking commands their obedience. He believes he is the king of the world, and the large canines are kind enough to let him believe it.
Otto’s self-assurance has skyrocketed since he discovered he could be independent. This began when Melissa and Otto began celebrating every small accomplishment.
Otto gradually discovered that he could accomplish tasks on his own. Even with his legs inverted, he has never indicated to Melissa that he was in agony. He would move as if there were no tomorrow.
Melissa has learned from Otto that physical beauty is irrelevant. Self-perception is the most crucial aspect of developing confidence.
Otto has confidence in himself and knows he can overcome any obstacle. His foster family played an important role in instilling confidence in him. They convinced him that he was more than the sum of his disabilities. Otto must believe that he is a fantastic dog.
