This bulldog named Daisy appeared at a fire station in Fresno, California. After seeing the dog, the local county firefighters initially did not know what to do with the pup. At first, they thought that the dog was with someone, so they waited for Daisy’s companion. However, no one appeared, so the dog slept on a doormat outside the fire station for four nights.
At that time, Fire Captain Lucian Neely kept in touch with his brother, who was then moving forward from his previous dog’s death. Lucian’s brother agreed to foster the dog until Daisy finds a new home.
Fortunately, the volunteers from the Wagmor Pets learned about the dog’s case. The volunteers immediately helped the dog and posted her story on their social media accounts. It turned out that American singer Miley Cyrus has seen the post.
Miley pitied the dog, so she immediately kept in touch with the Wagmor Pets. It was Melissa Bacelar, Wagmor’s owner, who the singer spoke with during that time. Miley told Melissa about her intention to adopt the dog for good. She introduced herself, and at first, Melissa could not believe that she is speaking with a famous person.
Nevertheless, Melissa became honest with the singer and told her about the issues with Daisy. According to Melissa, the dog is nursing several medical conditions. Miley listed to Melissa’s explanation, but in the end, the singer was still adamant about adopting the dog for good.
Upon hearing this, Melissa knew that Miley was the perfect fit for Daisy. Cyrus dropped by the animal shelter to fetch the dog. During their first meeting, Daisy was rather shy to Miley.
But even then, Miley showed understanding and warmth to the dog and told her that everything would be alright. Miley brought Daisy home and promised to give the pup the best life she deserves.
