Everyone’s been guilty of something at some point, with actions ranging from the so-so to outrageous categories. We don’t know which type you belong to, but this doggo belonged to the latter.
She’s a golden retriever, and her name’s Aspen. You could say that just like a juvie in detention, she’s had many priors. Let’s just say that she decisively committed these acts again and again.
We’re talking about Aspen repeatedly eating the cat’s food. Yep, that’s her offense, and her hooman dad just couldn’t let it go. He scolded his pet and reprimanded her for doing so.
Poor Aspen was beside herself; she hid behind a chair, hoping that her dad would go away for a bit so that she could sort through the reasons in her head. That didn’t happen, and she was summoned again.
Aspen had no choice but to obey and come near her dad. The first thing that struck us was how guilty she looked. The golden retriever crouched behind a chair, and when she came out, her facial expression gave her away.
We’re stoked that you feel sorry, doggo, but you need to make it up to the cat. Also, could you tell us why you like cat food so much? Is it the taste or something else?
The answers to those questions didn’t matter to the cat at all. The feline just wanted her food back, and she also wanted assurance that it won’t disappear again in the future. Uhm, Aspen, you’ve got a lot to do.
Aspen’s only saving grace is her admission by looking guilty, and we’re all for it. It’s hard to admit wrong-doing these days, so maybe looking guilty is dog-speak for I’m sorry, and I admit it was me.
Try to ask permission from the kitty first, doggo. Eat with the cat if you love her food so much, and you won’t get into trouble.
