For the majority of people, Pit Bulls are fierce and aggressive dogs that should never be kept as pets. People see Pit Bulls as violent dogs because they’ve always been closely associated with dogfighting. It’s such a shame that this happened since these dogs have once been labeled as America’s nanny dogs.
Thankfully, people are slowly becoming aware that Pit Bulls are actually sweet dogs who just want nothing but to be a part of a family. They’re also known for being intelligent and funny. Pit Bull owners know how adorable these dogs are and they’re actively encouraging people to adopt Pit Bulls.
One particular family used to be skeptical about Pit Bulls. They were worried that if they ever adopt one, they would hurt their other dog. However, everything changed when the daughter adopted a Pit Bull puppy named Bruce. When Annie first brought Bruce home, Annie’s mom, Elizabeth, thought that it was going to be a disaster.
Annie’s parents thought that Pit Bulls are simply alligators with fur. However, Annie convinced her parents to give Bruce a chance. After a week of having Bruce, Annie’s parents were already head over heels in love with Bruce. Annie’s dad, David, even stated that Bruce is his favorite dog.
The entire family eventually fell into fostering Pit Bulls. However, they consider themselves as foster owners who are basically people who kept foster failing. When they fostered a second Pit Bull named Lulu, Elizabeth kept telling everyone that Lulu is just going to be a foster and that they’ll find a forever home for her.
However, within two or three days later, everyone fell in love with Lulu and decided to foster fail. The third Pit Bull was Lawley, who came from an awful situation and made himself at home in his foster home. Lawley also became a foster fail.
The last Pit Bull was Kobe. Kobe is like a little kid who drives everyone in the family crazy. However, Kobe’s sweet personality won over everyone’s hearts and also ended up as a foster fail. Now, all four rescue Pit Bulls have the best forever home.
Every single one of the Pit Bulls is obsessed with the swimming pool and would beg Annie, Elizabeth, or David to be let out in the yard to go swimming in the pool. Seeing four Pit Bulls swimming in a pool at the same time is so adorable and heartwarming. All these dogs have been through so much in life and seeing them happily enjoying the day in the pool will make anyone’s heart melt.
A family that used to hate Pit Bulls are now Pit Bull lovers and rescuers. Thanks to Annie for bringing Bruce to her home, she was able to show her parents that Pit Bulls are wonderful dogs. Here’s a heartwarming video showing the four rescue pitties having the best time in their new forever home.
