For Francois and Roger, their dogs hold a special place in their hearts, and even though both of them are homeless, they made sure that their furry friends are well fed and protected. Without a doubt, their dogs are lucky to have them as owners, but when the lockdown due to COVID-19 began, Francois and Roger had to be transported to a housing facility.
As much as they wanted to take their dogs with them, the facility did not allow dogs. Both of them were wondering what they are going to do with their dogs, and luckily, the Cape of Good Hope SPCA stepped in to address their concern by offering a temporary shelter for the dogs.
Francois and Roger were happy to know their dogs were in good hands because they had no idea how to get through during lockdown time without their dogs. Francois’s dog named Dragon had been loyal to him, and despite the challenges he faced, Dragon stayed by his side. Roger also has a loyal companion named Max, who was present during an extremely difficult time. It was a heartwarming moment when they reunited with their dogs after a month of being apart.
Max did not recognize Roger because he was wearing a mask, but he immediately jumped into his loving arms when he heard his voice. Dragon also missed his fur dad so much that he soaked up all the cuddles he missed out on during the pandemic. While Francois and Roger found themselves in difficult situations, they never gave up on their dogs. They made sure that someone was looking after them while they were in a temporary housing facility.
They were also grateful that SPCA provided a home for Dragon and Max. After their reunion, Francois and Roger made sure that their dogs will stay safe and sound for as long as they are together.
