Marshmallow was living on the streets when she was rescued by animal control. The rescuers eventually located the dog’s owners, but they no longer wanted Marshmallow. Thankfully, the dog was placed with a caring foster mother who assisted her in finding a permanent home.
A woman named Jordann enjoyed providing foster care for rescued dogs. As soon as she learned about Marshmallow, she volunteered to take care of her.
Marshmallow was so thin that it was possible to see the outline of her bones through her skin. She was also timid and terrified of Jordann.
Jordann was aware that she needed a lot of patience with the dog because Marshmallow had endured so much. Seeing Marshmallow’s situation just strengthened Jordann’s resolve to assist her.
Four of Jordann’s other canines enjoyed meeting new fosters. She hoped that her pets would have a positive effect on Marshmallow and help her gain confidence.
Marshmallow enjoyed spending time with the other dogs, but she became anxious when they became too boisterous or loud. Additionally, she disliked being alone, so she accompanied her foster mother wherever she went throughout the day.
One day, Jordann welcomed her friends’ dogs into her home. Marshmallow enjoyed playing with the dogs and she soon emerged from her shell because of their presence.
Marshmallow soon became a dog that was livelier and friendlier. She was comfortable playing with other dogs, but she also loved to be around humans.
It did not take long for a nice family to express interest in adopting Marshmallow. Jordann was sad to see Marshmallow go, but pleased that her foster dog would finally live the life she deserves.
Marshmallow’s move to her new home and family was effortless. Her new home had a large yard where she could play, and her new mother indulged her with new toys and food.
