There are just as many heartbreaking dog stories as there are heartwarming ones. Some of these sad dog stories may not have a satisfactory conclusion but this story we have today is an exception.
This one began on a sad note but finished on a bright one. This is the story of a dog named Siggy and Lionel, the man who discovered her on the street.
Lionel Vytialingam is a Malaysian resident. While returning from a trip to the grocery shop, Lionel heard car horns while driving on the road. He decided to peek over and noticed a nervous dog that appeared to be walking around frantically. Then, he decided to follow the small dog to determine if it required assistance.
A message was attached to the dog’s collar when Lionel finally caught up with him. The letter was folded and drenched in moisture. He inched closer to the dog and gently approached the note to examine its contents. The note stated that the dog’s name is Siggy and that she is affectionate and obedient. It also said that Siggy’s owner could no longer care for her and had to leave her for someone else to adopt.
From Siggy’s perspective, the note requested that anyone who found her take the dog in. According to the note, Siggy, a 5-year-old Goldendoodle, has not been spayed, but she is nice and has not bitten anyone. The cute puppy also vowed in the note to stay guard at her new master’s home and growl at anyone approaching the gate. And she can even perform tricks!
According to Lionel, he was moved by what he read and could not believe it. And without much consideration, he brought the puppy home. The terrified puppy eventually got into the car and implored Lionel with her eyes. The dog began to trust Lionel as the travel home progressed, according to Lionel. He provided her with food, water, and a comfortable bed beneath his sofa.
