There’s another heartbreaking loss that covered the world of reality TV when Kyle Richards of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills announced the passing of Khloe, her beloved canine companion. The 52-year-old star broke the news of her loss through an Instagram post last February.
Richards uploaded a gallery of snapshots of her late pet and their shared moments through the years. In her caption, she mentioned how she could still not put into words the pain of losing her pet. According to her, the idea of losing Khloe hurt so much, as she treated her dogs like children. The reality star even lamented on why we can’t live forever.
In her caption, she also said that Khloe’s death reminds us that none of us will live forever and appreciate every moment we have here.
The reality star also provided details about her special memories with Khloe through the years. She said that her little darling slept by her kids’ side and always made sure that she loved and protected them. ‘The littlest dog with the biggest attitude’ is how Richards ended her caption and said she would always be grateful for the 16 years they had with her.
Her friends from Bravo flooded her comments section with sympathies and condolences. Dina Manzo, another star from the Real Housewives of New Jersey, said she was sorry for Richards’ loss and knew what her heartache felt like. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave, her former RHOBH co-star, wrote many sad emojis and said she was sorry about what happened.
Fellow Bravo star Gretchen Rossi also wrote an endearing message of support for Richards. She said she was sorry for Richards’ heart-wrenching loss and described her as the best fur-momma to Khloe. According to Rossi, losing a fur baby is always hard, and offered prayers for the entire family during this challenging time. She ended by saying that Khloe would be waiting for them at the rainbow bridge.
Meanwhile, Mauricio Umansky, Richards’ husband, took to his own Instagram page to honor the late dog. The 50-year-old shared a photo of Khloe as she laid in a pink fuzzy bed and said that their baby Khloe gave them many years of love and happiness. He said that the family will always love and miss her.
We’re so sorry for your loss, Kyle and family!
