We all have different preferences when it comes to dogs. Some like long-haired dogs, while others prefer short-haired ones. Additionally, people are pretty specific about the size of the dogs they want. We must admit that the majority of us stereotype dogs based on their size.
A woman named Sheridan Oliver Martin was very interested in adopting a Chihuahua. However, Sinclair, her husband, despised little pets. Sinclair considers tiny dogs to be loud and aggressive, and he has made it abundantly apparent that he dislikes them. Sheridan knew that her husband would oppose her adoption of a Chihuahua if she even hinted that she was considering doing so.
Sinclair desired a large dog, such as a German Shepherd or a Pit Bull. He desired a tenacious dog that could play with their other enormous dog, Merlin. He believed that Chihuahuas were incapable of playing with huge canines.
Sheridan was, nevertheless, persistent. She implored and begged Sinclair to allow her to get a Chihuahua. Sinclair thankfully conceded and informed Sheridan she could acquire a Chihuahua for her next birthday. Sheridan was naturally very excited.
Sinclair lectured his wife a week before picking up their new family member, a Chihuahua named Pickles, about being responsible for the puppy and how he didn’t want anything to do with Pickles. Sinclair’s continued opposition to adopting a little puppy was quite evident.
However, Sinclair was unprepared for what transpired when he eventually met Pickles. Pickles began by staring at Sinclair and then cuddling close to him. Sinclair looked at Sheridan and informed her that Pickles was their puppy as soon as the car door shut to begin the drive back home.
In contrast to Sinclair’s speech about not wanting anything to do with Pickles, he assumed responsibility for Pickles’s care. Even though he used to despise little dogs, he now puts a Chihuahua to bed every night. Even occasionally, he massaged Pickles’s paws.
